I will be attending Southwestern Assemblies of God University in the fall of 2015. I am going to play volleyball and major in secondary education mathematics. My career goals include being a middle school math teacher and coach volleyball. Click here to view an article a SAGU student wrote about my signing. I will be receiving an academic and athletic scholarship. I want to attend because I love the small campus that is close to home, the professors and degree plans are perfect for me, and the presence of Christ is evident. Below are two pictures from signing my letter of intent.

College Idea my Junior Year:I have visited several colleges and have emailed quite a few coaches to come watch me play volleyball in the spring and summer prior to my senior year. I am currently not committed, but that may end up changing fairly soon. My senior year I plan on working hard to keep my grades up as well as mature as an independent person. I have already taken my ACT once and received a 25 and I am scheduled to take it again June 14th. I am also scheduled to take my SAT for the first time on June 7th.

I am currently considering Hardin-Simmons University and Southwestern Assemblies of God University to attend in fall of 2015.

To get into Hardin-Simmons University, if you are in the top 10%, then you only have to receive a 23 or higher on ACT to be in the level I group. If you receive a 20-22 on ACT or is in the top 25%, then you would be considered a level II group.

To get into Southwestern Assemblies of God University, your ACT score must be a minimum of 19 or SAT score of a 1350 minimum. The cost per year is around $23,820 including tuition, room, and board. The cost per hour is $565.

I plan on applying for the Live Big Scholarship, the Richland Volleyball Boosters Scholarship, Leadership Scholarships at the college I pursue, the Career and Technology Scholarship, the Poteat Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship.
